In my 40 years as a child, marriage, and family therapist in California, I worked with thousands of people from ages 3 to 85. Then in 2018, at age 62, I packed up my dog and cat and moved to Italy to buy a small olive farm.

Today, I coach individuals, parents, teens, and families, including those navigating life abroad. Moving to a new country brings unique hurdles: culture shock, feeling isolated, making new friends, or managing new schools and jobs. At the same time, life’s usual challenges don’t pause just because you moved; self-doubt, parent-child conflicts, and relationship communication issues follow us wherever we go. Coaching can help with those, too.

Coaching is a partnership that helps you clarify your goals, identify the obstacles to get past, and create a realistic plan for change. Working with a coach gives you a dedicated space to discuss challenges, discover new tools, and take concrete steps toward those goals.

What I offer is practical support, useful tools, and a safe place to talk while you find your footing and build a new life.
